About Our Club
The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, literacy, and violence. We also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.

To the Peabody Rotary Club “service above self” is not just a motto but a call to action.  Locally members provide monthly meals at the Haven from Hunger.  The Peabody Rotary Club annually awards college scholarships to Peabody students.  Internationally the Peabody Club funded literacy programs in Guatemala, contributed to flood relief efforts in Pakistan and, in conjunction with Rotary International, contribute to the eradication of Polio world wide.  These are just a few of the many local, national and international organizations and projects the Peabody Rotary Club supports.

We are diverse group of men and women who bring a wide range of business and life experience to our Club.  We are open to new ideas and initiatives that promote the warm fellowship that is a hallmark of our Club.
