December 7,2007,- Haven from Hunger Team Assignments: Arrive by NLT , by 4:15 P.M. would be great, at 71 Wallis St., Peabody.

If you are unable to attend on the specified date, it is your responsibility to locate a replacement. Please inform the meal pickup person (Chief Entree Officer) of the change and the replacement of your assigned responsibility. Thanks.  Look at NEWS and Haven Team Assignments for the future schedule. Please check out new assignments. 

 

    * President Grace Martins  conducted the meeting.

*Grace announced she was selected to lead the Group Study Exchange Program in April 2008 and she is very excited to be headed to Brazil.

 

*District Governor Julia Pheleps was our Guest today. For those who were in attendance she was informative. I cannot report I was not there.

* Lorning reported that he & Mel servered about 30 people at Haven last friday.

 * The Rotary "After hours Social "will be on Tuesday November 27th from 5:00-7:00pm. Please think of at least 2 people you can invite. This is our membership drive to recruit new members. You can send your list to Steve Morad so that an invitation can be sent out.

  *Cathy Gravel did give her resignation from the newsletter. If anyone is interested in taking over the duty of writing the weekly newsletter for the Rotary club please contact Grace.

* Mel had the Entertainment 2008 Books.*
