The Polar Plunge is this Saturday!  Come support Vanessa as she runs fearlessly into the Atlantic!  There will be a room for the Peabody club before and after.  Join us!

Thank you to all who attended last night's World Peace and Understanding Dinner.  Peg L, Peggy P, Megan, Vanessa, Cathy, Fred (and Rachel), and President Steve.  And of course Bob Wood was there running the show!

Reminder to John and Megan about Haven From Hunger on Friday.  Perhaps bring fruit instead of salad fixings?  They always seem to have supplies for a green salad.  We will also be trying the food from Raices Carribbean for next months meal and take a one month break from Santoros.  Let's see...

We received a Thank You letter from the Babe Ruth baseball club for our donation.  Our name will be listed on their hats and the website as usual!

We had a meeting last week with new mayor Ted Bettencourt.  Thank you to Jessika, Brian, Peggy P, Herb, and Steve for coming.  Each one brought up a few good points.  Even though we didn't get an overwheling agreement, the mayor took in all of our information and wants us to reach back out to him in the beginning of March! That's progress!

Bob confirmed a date of Monday June 18 for our next Chamber/Rotary golf tournament.  It will make for a nice long Father's day weekend for the dads in the group!  Bob will let us know when the first committee meeting will be.

Happy Dollars: Sergeant-at-arms John collected $32.

50-50 Raffle: Neither Jessika nor Bob C picked the Jack of Spades. Only 37 cards left!

Reminders:

Our speaker scheduler, Brian Cassidy, asks that you tell him of any people who may want to speak to the club or whom you think may be of interest to the club.

**********************************

Secretary Gary Epstein reminds members of Rotary's attendance requirements. Members cannot miss more than three consecutive meetings without making up. However, there are plenty of opportunities to make up. Attend a Board meeting (All members are encouraged to attend, anyway.), attend a committee meeting, work on the website, and the most basic make-up--attend other clubs' meetings. Be sure to steal ideas our club can use!!

**********************************

What do you do with your empty bottles and cans? (And we know there must be a lot of empty beer cans and bottles.) Please bring them (both beer and soda) to the meetings every week to give to Mel. Every nickel helps!!

LET'S BECOME A 100% SUSTAINING MEMBER CLUB!!

THE 4-WAY TEST of the things we think, say or do:

1. IS IT THE TRUTH?

2. IS IT FAIR TO ALL CONCERNED?

3. WILL IT BUILD GOODWILL & BETTER FRIENDSHIP?

4. WILL IT BE BENEFICAL TO ALL CONCERNED?

Please keep this in mind!
